Slay @ Work

You have passed the interview and got the job, congratulations. Now in the work environment, you have to slay and be the ultimate boss-babe. Here are my 7 tips:
  1. Work up early and be early at work. Punctuality is the most attractive quality of any successful girl-boss.
  2. Eat a healthy breakfast as that will fill your body with the right nutrients that will keep you energetic and at the top of your game throughout the day.
  3. Dress for success
  4. Pay attention to detail and meet your deadlines. In the work environment, a girl-boss is someone who is reliable and gets the job done within the required time.
  5. Work hard. A girl-boss understands that she has to work hard in order to be successful and achieve her goals. Put in the hard work and effort and in no time you will be closer to living your dream life. Make connections with successful women in your industry and keep up with the latest news/events about the industry.
  6. Keep learning. Work on improving your skills and enhance your knowledge in your chosen field – continue with your studies by doing a postgraduate degree. This shows that you are willing to learn and take your career to the next level. If there is a new skill you will like to learn but do not have the financial resources for it, there is SKILL SHARE which has over 15 000 online classes.
  7. Set career goals – what do you hope to achieve within your career? Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years? These kind of questions will help you stay focused towards building the career you most desire.
